the post's title has nothing to do with the post itself. just simply crapping.
I was in the car on my way to Cherating. Dad's brother, who is also my uncle and aunt, came down to Cherating from KL for holidays on the first day of Chinese New Year. Since all the relatives came in the afternoon and we were free by evening, dad decided to go Cherating and pay a visit.
My 2nd sister, Dinie, has followed Aunty Wendy as she has found her 'gang' (Aunty Wendy's daughters), she's decided to abandon us. Pity Mirrlea, thank god she has Max or she can come and join my loner club. Therefore, mum decided to go meet Aunty Sura (my aunt) without Dinie. Bringing along Mirrlea's 'gang', Max to Cherating.
Max is 4, grew up in a chinese fam and speaks mostly mandarin. Mirrlea is 5, grew up in a non-chinese fam and speaks mostly eng and malay. so..., you get the picture dont you?

This was what i witnessed in the car on our way to Cherating.
They were playing 'the calling game'. or at least thats the only name i can come up with. sheesh. Max uses the DVD's remote control as his phone, while Mirrlea uses a pink sand spade as hers.
So, this is how it goes :

Max : Harlow? Harlow?
Mirrlea : Harlow?
Max : Har?
Mirrlea : Harlow! Max!
Max : Harlow? Miii-lee-yaaa!
Mirrlea : Max! Harlow! How are you?
Max : I four years old. Mii-lee-yaa leh?
Mirrlea : You four years old. I five years old.
Max : Mii-lee-yaa, you got tennis ar? (well, this ques was asked by Max because he founds dad's tennis racket at the back of the car)
Mirrlea : No, i go to Zoo.
Max : I want go to swimming pool!
Mirrlea : I oso want! I want follow!
Max : ni yoa chu na li? (where do you want to go?, speaks in mandarin)
Mirrlea : (repeating what Max says)
Max : wo yao chu beach. (i want to go to beach)
Mirrlea : YES!

i know, i know, what the hell are they chit-chatting exactly?
Well, at least they communicate dont they?
