reunion dinner.

reunion dinner is a dinner on the CNY's eve where family members gather and have dinner together. no matter how far you are, you jst have to come back and have dinner with your family. mum says it's the most important part of chinese new year celebration (way more important than collecting angpaus and stuffing yourself with mandarin oranges. pfft.) have you ever watched the CNY 's advertisements on the tv? if you havent, go sit in front of the tv now.
this year, we're having our reunion dinner at the restaurant. it wasnt really as merry as i thought or hoped it would be. as most of my aunts had to have dinner with their husband's family and couldnt have dinner with us tonight. plus the foods wasnt really 'my cup of tea' (the usual restaurant we go who has the yummy-er food was closed tonight you see and porpor isnt that healthy to cook herself). *sigh* but still, it was awesome enough though. :)

*these are the dishes that kungkung (granpa) ordered. porpor! i miss your yu-chi!! ouh, yu-chi is shark's fin soup. :D

*dats mirrlea (my lil sister), max (my lil cousin) and sar yee (my aunt) getting excited for the food.

*aaah. this is the other half of the table. that's sar yee, ah ku (uncle), ah kim (uncle's wife a.k.a max's mum), max, porpor and kungkung :)

well, the rest's waiter saw me snapping here and there, he then offered to help us take a full fam pic! (finally) but too bad. the pic didnt turn out that well. ouh well, at least we have one. :) thanks abang waiter!
