ladies and gentlemen, i have failed. to frolick with le books. but fear not. id be back to Malacca soon. la la land.
we cannot determine exactly what will happen tomorrow, or the next day, or in several years' time, but we can set in motion positive energy that we hope will eventually come back to us. the ripples created when someone drops a stone in the middle of a pool of water radiate out when until they hit the pool's edges; whereupon they begin flowing back, in their complex cross-currents, toward the centre. in the same way, the blessings that we send out into the world will return to us. as we are SOW, so we shall REAP.
we project our strong and confident virtue into the unknown, like a prayer winging its way to divinity and the prayer is rewarded in time with revelations.
i think i have been rejuvenated. i must now face myself, understand who am i, find value in myself, and act according to that value. im pretty sure if i follow this self-awareness route towards contentment, instead of running towardsthe dark escapist source of relaxation, my positive energy will transmit itself into the future. and each time i arive at the future, i shall find it waiting for me all along, primed to receiveme by all that i had thought, said and done in the past.
one must learn to bend with stresses and strains like a tree buffeted in the wind. one must develop the resiliency of spirit to spring erect again after the storm has passed. calm has been restored i believe. dont you think so?
