trust is an inner power that helps us enjoy the journey of change. or so it helps mine i think. with the power of trust i lose fear and tension. trust make change easier, it takes away the worry.
one of the ways to develop trust is to consider the self to be powerful and meet any challenge that comes our way. i often consider challenges to be problems and i worry and buckle under the strain of those situations, making them even worse. i know ive been there done that too many times to count. on the other hand, if i see for once, all situations in a positive mannered way, i realize that each situation comes to teach me something, hereby making me mature.
secondly, the world is helping me to get where i ought to be. my beloved friends are as well. but am i able to see and trust that is for my own good? each situation comes to test us in something we lack and helps us to develop that power.
resistance is to change our first reaction. most of the reasons centre around the feelings of loss and grief that have been experienced from past changes. mostly it has been shown that human beings do not resist positive changes. would you resist if you're soon to be married to a someone from a well-to-do family?
people resist change when they are uncertain about the outcome of fear loss from change. i would rather much deal with the devil i know than the uncertainty of transition. people who react to loss and change go through the cycle of SHOCK, ANGER, DENIAL, RETREAT and finally ACCEPTANCE.
acceptance change as inevitable allows people to remain cool and fell at ease with the process of change. from what i know, life means change. it cannot remain static. it is always in a state of flux. the challenge of the time is to move powerfully and confidently through change. when you are in powerful awareness, no upheaval in the atmosphere, people or circumstances can affect you. they are like side scenes. my vision is on the goal.
