Week nine in St Louis (read : the last week, SAD) : (i) Dressed in respective native clothing and off to closing ceremony dinner in Eden on Monday night. Three campuses decided to read, act and sing all in respective ways. And I, came up with a poem that almost blew all in the end of the evening. (insert self bragging moment) Farewell was one hell of a tough one. (ii) Encountered farewell session with much guts and tears along side with e-mails exchanging session. Not to forget the early attempt of packing things. Result? Ended up with another EXTRA luggage due to excessive shopping. Heh. (iii) Thursday, one last shopping trip in West County Mall with Arnetta before closing accounts on Friday. (iv) Dinner at Keith's on Thursday night. Only a few bunch of his students and us two Malaysians were invited. Nice place, nice kids and nice food. (v) Dinner in Dean Thao-Dang William's house on Friday night. Vietnamese food once again. Oh well. Worked my way through all the egg rolls and forked up in the beautiful Choc Pie dessert. Um-hurm. Rest of the night was spent fiddling with the Wii and the jacuzzi. (But I stayed in and humored self with the TV though.) (vi) Saturday, original plan was to hang out all day spending the very last minute of time in St Louis wisely. However, plan failed as I was down with a bad cold and stayed in bed for the rest of the day. Goddamnit. I curse you, cold! Saturday night, another farewell dinner in the dorm. Dragged self out of bed had a bite or two of food and went back to bed. Not even in mood for the very last camwhoring session. Imagine that! (vii) Sunday morning, The Day has come. Bye bye St Louis.
